Developing Specialist and Complementary Services

As well as providing the full range of NHS dental services ('Mandatory Dental Services'), a number of IDH's practices provide specialist services too, such as:

• Orthodontics
• Sedation
• Minor Oral Surgery
• Domiciliary Services
• In-hours Urgent Access Sessions

In addition, IDH is reaching beyond its traditional range of dental services, and is currently piloting a number of preventative and educational programmes such as Fluoride Varnish and Topical Treatments for Children, Smoking Cessation, Alcohol Awareness and the provision of Oral Health Education (OHE) sessions to target groups such Mothers and Children.
